What am I joining? And can I quit?
Yes! You can quit at any time, but the DASH is designed to help you SUCCEED so that you won't want to quit, no matter what. This program is completely voluntary, but it is based on high-performance habits which will help you succeed.
We succeed on the DAILY level.
Develop habits so that you WIN every day!
Daily Accountability
If you do the DASH 5 days a week, you can add
15-20 team members to your team in just 30 days!
The next section will tell you exactly how to do this with the DASH.
Daily Reminders
You will get daily reminders by text message.
We will put you on an automated daily drip campaign to receive a Daily Text message every day, Monday - Saturday, to remind you about your DASH commitment and goals.
Audio Suggestions / Short Videos
You will also receive 1 Starfish audio link or suggestion.
These daily audios are part of the Starfish system and will keep you educated, motivated, inspired, and moving forward!
Sometimes I will prepare a short video for you, or have a Starfish Leader share a short video with you, to keep you inspired!
START. Fill out the Starfish Opt-In Form
Everything starts with commitment.
To say "I'm in," just click the "I want to join the DASH" button and get put on our DASH list. We will be your accountability team to help you succeed!

But why would you want to quit if this simple program is helping you to grow your team and achieve your teams?
This should take 5 minutes or less!

Step 1. WRITE DOWN NAMES
Write down 1-10 names a day
Write down 1-10 names on your DASH sheet to match the daily goal you have set for yourself. Possible sources for names:
SOURCES
Phone: Use your phone and open your Contacts. Start with the A's and just work your way through all of your contacts day by day.
Email: You have a lot of people you email on a regular basis, or who email you. Open your email inbox or contacts list and write down names from there. If you have a phone number for these people you're in luck! If you don't, email the person and say you would love to speak with them about something and wondered if they can give you their phone number. That's what you'll need to do the DASH.
Social Media: Find people on Linked In, FaceBook, Alignable, and other social media platforms. Write down their names and DM them instead of texting them. Again, you will need to ask about getting their mobile number to call them.
NOTE: To start with, PHONE is the fastest way to do the DASH since you already have most of these folks' phone numbers already. But you can supplement that with other methods.
HOW MANY NAMES?
The recommended number for most people is FIVE, but you can start with 1 or 2 if you want to build confidence.
Even if you just start with 1 name but do the DASH all 5 work days or the week, or maybe 6 if you include Saturday, you'll have 5 per week, 20 per month, which is WAY MORE than most people do in a month, way more! If you do the recommended 5 names, you'll reach out to 25 per week (or 30 with Saturdays, but I'm going to use Saturday as a "catch up" day), so 25 per week, times 4 weeks of the month, is 100 reach-outs in a month.
10 MINUTES A DAY
If you do the DASH every day, your results can be MASSIVE!! Writing down names should take 5 minutes or less each day! Sending text messages and answering people who text you back will take another five minutes, so there's your 10 minutes a day! If you talk to people after your 10 minutes this will obviously add more time, but the 10 minutes is just a KICK OFF.
TRIGGER HABIT
Think of the DASH reach-out method as a TRIGGER HABIT that you are developing, something to start the ball rolling. Reaching out to people will be like having your coffee to kick-start your day, or starting the car and driving around the block. You still haven't reached your destination but you're well on your way!
After you do the DASH and start conversations, you can then set up Presentations, listen to Audios, read Books, attend Events, and do all of the other things that are vital to going Go-Getter and Power Player, and eventually LIFE COACH.
Don't Be Picky! Don't Pre-Judge!
Don't be picky - just write down names of people you know from your phone contacts, email list, social media accounts, and so on. You just need their phone numbers (or if you have their email or can DM them, maybe you can get their phone number). Don't pre-qualify them as "likely interested" or "they would never do this" - just reach out and do what Chris Brady says we should do, "make a friend" or "be a friend." If they don't join Starfish, you still have a WIN. You have deepened a relationship with a friend, opened the door to more opportunities.
DASH SHEET
NAMES
Write down the names of the people above on your DASH sheet. Make sure to add the DATE to the left of the names so that you can keep track of your DASH goal of doing a certain number of reach-out's per day.
NUMBERING
Use the number column to put down the number of names you are writing down. For instance, if you write down five names for Monday, put 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the number column. Circle the last number (in this case 5) to indicate the total number of names you wrote down that day. Re-start your numbering on the next day.
Step 2. SEND TEXT MESSAGES
Send a text message to ALL of these people
Send a friendly text message to each of your people whose names you have written down. Don't mention Starfish yet. I suggest things like:
MESSAGE IDEAS
"Hey Susan. It's been a long time. How are you? Would be GREAT to reconnect! This is (insert your name).
Hey, Joe. Great to see you last week in the grocery store. Sorry we didn't have much time to chat. How is your day going?
BE YOURSELF!
IMPROVISE based on who you are talking to. Be AUTHENTIC to the relationship that you have with that person. In short, BE YOURSELF! Work on creating text messages which invite a response without being pushy.
SEND them ALL
Send out ALL text messages as quickly as possible, one right after the other. If you set a goal of FIVE send-out's per day, write down your 5 names and then send ALL FIVE of the text messages right away. Don't send them out one by one and wait for a response. Send them ALL. You will have time to respond to the texts as they come back and set up phone calls.
DASH SHEET - After you send the texts
After you have sent out the text messages to your entire daily list, place an X or a checkmark for each name on the DASH sheet in the T column, where T stands for, you guessed it, "Text." Don't worry about the response yet. If you send the message, put an X or a checkmark (your choice) in the T column.
Step 5. Listen to at least 1 audio a day
Write down names from your phone, or names you think about.
You decide your daily goal: 1 name, 2 names, 5 names, up to 10.
The recommended number for most people is FIVE,
but you can start with 1 or 2 if you want to build confidence.
It all started with FAILURE.
But have you ever gone several days in a row
without sharing Starfish with anybody?
This is ME talking, Dr. Greg Sanders. I'm the "failure" we are talking about!
He I took some ideas from the book, Atomic Habits, discussed in several Starfish audios by Orrin Woodward, Chris Brady, and other Life leaders, and decided to make a simple plan for himself (and anyone else) to stay on track with contacting people about Starfish, starting with just 10 minutes a day. In just ONE WEEK at the end of September, I was able to erase all of the losses from the previous 3 weeks, and then hit Life Leader again for the 3rd month in a row. The DASH works!
Then I thought, what would happen if I do the DASH every single week of the month and not wait until the very last week! What would happen if I could be CONSISTENT.
In the next section below, you will find the step-by-step process for the DASH. As a team, we may end up doing Mini-DASHES such a 5-day Challenge, where your goal could be to simply reach your send-out goal 5 days in a row during the same week.
Stay connected to the DASH team and let's WIN TOGETHER!
P.S. If you haven't joined the DASH yet to get daily reminders - both TEXTS and EMAILS, and even some VIDEOS, please click the button on this page and join.
Then follow the simple steps below. Let's DASH to CASH!
